Hrm…
What do I deserve? Hell.
What can I bear? Nothing.
Where would I be? Beat down by the same life he’s talking about.
Conclusion: I’m not better than anything or anyone.
Now…Jesus Christ,
He deserves all things - all glory, honor, dominion, and praise.
He bore all things - even the wrath of God.
He is seated at the right hand of God the Father to receive all things to Himself.
He is preeminent above all things, over anything and anyone.
He stood in my place. What a wonderful Savior!
