This is so very true. Many want to think that we will be perfect once we are Christians, but it is not so. I believe that somewhere in the Bible it says that we will have to take up our cross and follow Him. (Someone help me out-- what verse is it?)

Anyways, keep up the good work in encouraging others!

Hehe, very true. This reminds me of the teachings of Ray Comfort -- Being a Christian is tough. But Heaven pays off in the end.

Hey! I did the Georgia teenpact that you staffed.... I'm thinking about doing the Back to D.C., are all the staffers going to be there? If you've ever been, I would love to hear about it.

Very true, for sure. It kind of reminds me of a lot of the preachers we see today who seem to want to promise "health and wealth" for anyone who becomes a Christian. While I have no doubt that God will bless us, it is obvious that scary stuff does happen. But, Alex hit it on the head, God uses these scary times to teach Christians many lessons.

Good post,
