KP and Chay

For those of you wondering about the personal life of this blogger and her family, you’re in luck.

It’s been a long two weeks, but Jonathan Chay finally came home a day and a half before my brother and I returned from GenJ camp. Chay is doing very well and has had no medical problems at all and mom is recovering from her C-Section incredibly well.

There were a few difficulties in getting out of the hospital, but after they started needing room and a threat to AMA they let my parents and Jonathan out. However, one of the Doctors decided that even though we complied with everything, that she should send DFACS (Department of Families and Child Services) to investigate us for medical neglect. They found nothing, and God blessed us with a social worker who was an advocate rather than an adversary. Our case was closed late last week and now all that’s left is a few more nurse visits that end this week and the hospital should be out of our lives.

This may not sound like something threatening to most people, but I haven’t been into a hospital in about ten years. As a result the sudden decision to go and the intervention following was a bit of a shock.

GenJ Camp was great. My brother and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. Adam B. and Peter S. won the Presidency. The speakers were both excellent and challenging. The downfall was that it was in the mountains in Tennessee, so it was very hard to stay in contact with my parents. That fact aside, GenJ camp was a great experience for both me and my brother.

Finally things are beginning to settle down and get back to normal. Throughout the whole time God has been awesome - providing a place for my siblings to stay, giving them peace, providing baby clothes, everything.

Thank you so much to all who prayed, they really made a difference.

“For those of you wondering about the personal life of this blogger and her family, you’re in luck.” How so? And what about those of us who aren’t? Are we in danger of bad luck?
