TeenPact State Class
posted February 18th, 2007 in etc
This week was my TeenPact State class and I had the unique privilege to be able to staff. The week was exhausting, but amazing. It was great to see God work and change people’s hearts about government and the Christian’s role in it.
A few shout outs are in order:
To the staff:
It was amazing serving with you, even though we were dead half the time when we weren’t working or playing nerts or having a nerf war. Look forward to seeing you at NC!!
To the BFAO Committee:
You were a great committee and I really enjoyed serving you and watching you debate bills and send illegals to Maine.
To the Savannah group:
Thank you SO much for the Starbucks, You guys are great.
To Kory B. and Mark M. :
Thank you so much for helping me out when I was trying to get our committee to different places, it would have been so much harder if you weren’t there!
To the Cocks:
Thank you so much for letting us invade your house and get nerf ammo things stuck everywhere, and messing up the counter with ice cream while listening to Elvis music. It was amazing, thanks for letting us just be able to relax.
The week was super-fantastic. I was low on energy and challenged, not only physically, but spiritually. The only way I made it was because God provided the strength for me to make it through. I wasn’t overly perky but I had the energy I needed to make it through, and hopefully made learning about the House and Senate interesting.
That sounds amazing, Kierstyn! I’m staffing the Missouri TP class next week, and I can hardly wait.
One question, though. Did you get Alex’s approval before shipping the illegals to Maine?
Sarah,
I did not, I wanted to, but I couldn’t call right in the middle of a committee meeting.
ahh…it was AMAZING!
Completely wonderful…*sigh* It was awesome to meet you and I really, really hope you can come to the tournament this Saturday.
