Hey, Kierstyn, me again.

I wanted to tell you and your readers about an urgent issue in the entertainment industry concerning me. It's an issue that needs to be talked about, prayed about, and acted upon. Here's a link to the article:
http://kingdomadvancing.blogspot.com/2007/01/wrong-in-so-many-ways.html

I think it would be a good thing if you could make link this article from a post. I know you're busy, so I'll understand if you can't. But this is not about making my blog popular, so don't worry. It's about protecting a little girl (actress Dakota Fanning) and standing up for what's right, decent, moral, and appropriate.

Thanks, Kierstyn. You are linked from Kingdom Advancing now. It took me awhile because I didn't realize you put me under "Advancing His Kingdom." (My blog's official title is "Kingdom Advancing.") It wouldn't be a big deal, except that I've seen at least one other blog called "Advancing His Kingdom." ("Kingdom Advancing" is original so far. :D)

It's interesting to note that separation of Church and State is in fact, a myth.

The myth of separation of Church and State grew out of a letter written to Thomas Jefferson while he was President. The letter was written by clergy, asking if Jefferson was going to declare a "official" state religion, like England and Spain had.

Jefferson's reply was that, no he was not going to declare an official state religion, that "There shall be a high and impenetrable wall between the State and the Church." In the Supreme Court ruling that removed God from our schools, the Justices went against all precedent, citing a single line from the letter Thomas Jefferson had written as "proof" that the founding fathers wouldn't have wanted God in our schools, despite the fact that the letter was written with the intent to protect the Church from the State, not vice versa.

In response to Mr. Drye, the reason we have "In God we trust" on our money is BECAUSE this "wall of separation" is a recent development. For the past 40 years liberals have been fanatically trying to remove all traces of God from the public square, secure in the knowledge that once it's gone, the "wall of separation" coupled with judicial precedent, will prevent it from easily taking root once more.
